Congressional Schedule: April 16-20, 2018

Mark-Ups:

Family Support— On Wednesday, the House Committee on Agriculture will mark up H.R. 2, the Agriculture and Nutrition Act.

International— On Tuesday, the House Committee on Foreign Affairs will mark up several bills, including, H.R. 5129, the Global Food Security Reauthorization Act, and H.R. 5480, the Women’s Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment Act.

STEM— On Tuesday, the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology will mark up several bills, including, H.R. 5509, the Innovations in Mentoring, Training, and Apprenticeships Act.

Veterans— On Tuesday, the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Health will mark up several bills, including, H.R. 4434, the Improving Oversight of Women Veterans’ Care Act, and H.R. 4635, a bill to increase peer-to-peer counseling for women veterans.

Hearings:

Child Protection— On Wednesday, the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Production Safety, Insurance, and Data’ Security will hold a hearing, “Olympic Abuse: The Role of National Governing Bodies in Protecting Our Athletes.”
