On March 1, WCPI celebrated 40 years of progress for women at the 2017 Congressional Gala. The speakers included Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Women’s Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Susan Brooks and Lois Frankel, and the co-founders and past co-chairs of the Women’s Caucus.
We were pleased to host 375 attendees: 26 women Senators, Members of Congress, and former Members, including the Women’s Caucus co-founders, former Rep. Elizabeth Holtzman and Amb. Margaret Heckler. Other attendees included federal agency officials, corporate and labor supporters, senior congressional staff, and women’s groups.
We also announced for the first time, that Women’s Policy, Inc. is now the Women’s Congressional Policy Institute (WCPI)!
