Fiona Kohrman

Fiona Kohrman serves as a Legislative Representative at the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), where she advocates on a wide-ranging portfolio of federal government employee rights issues, including for employees who work at the Social Security Administration (SSA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Bureau of Prisons (BOP), National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). She also helps her colleagues on several governmentwide issues.  Since joining AFGE in 2014, Fiona has held several roles, starting as an intern and advancing to research assistant, and now legislative representative. Her decade-long tenure reflects her deep commitment to public service and the rights of federal workers.  Fiona holds a master’s degree in policy management from Georgetown University (2023) and a bachelor’s degree in American studies from Macalester College (2012).
