Mark-Ups:
Human Trafficking- On Tuesday, the House Ways and Means Committee will mark up the Preventing Sex Trafficking and Improving Opportunities for Youth in Foster Care Act (H.R. 4058).
Appropriations- On Wednesday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies will mark up the FY2015 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).
Human Trafficking- On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Committee will mark up the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act (H.R. 3530), the Stop Exploitation Through Trafficking Act (H.R. 3610), and the Stop Advertising Victims of Exploitation (SAVE) Act (H.R. 4225).
Military- On Wednesday, the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel will mark up its portion of the FY2015 National Defense Authorization Act (as-yet-unnumbered).
Hearings:
International- On Tuesday, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations will hold a hearing, “Effective Accountability: Tier Ranking in the Fight Against Human Trafficking.”
