With the aim of bridging the partisan divide and highlighting women’s leadership, WCPI hosts several annual signature events – the WCPI Congressional Gala, STEAM Fair and Reception, Women Veterans’ annual event, and Take Our Daughters to Congress Day.
These special events allow WCPI to celebrate the role of women in Congress, as well as to work with longtime partners in the federal, corporate, labor, and nonprofit communities to focus on these key issues for women and girls.
WCPI’s Most Recent Congressional Briefing
Invent Together and WCPI hosted a congressional briefing on Thursday, July 15 to discuss women and patents and increasing diversity in the innovation ecosystem. The briefing was held in cooperation with the leadership of the bipartisan Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues and made possible through a grant from Qualcomm.
