On November 6, the House approved, by voice vote, the Small Business Programs Act (H.R. 3866), the last in a series of bills to reauthorize Small Business Administration (SBA) programs. The House Small Business Committee approved the measure on October 18 (see The Source, 10/19/07).
Sponsored by Rep. Nydia Velázquez (D-NY), the bill would reauthorize several SBA lending programs, including the Women Business Center and Small Business Development Center programs, as well as the National Women’s Business Council.
