On September 29, the House passed, by voice vote, H.R. 4131, a bill to designate a section of California State Route 91 as the Juanita Millender-McDonald (D-CA) Highway, in honor of the late congresswoman, who passed away in late 2007. The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee passed H.R. 4131 on July 31 (see The Source, 8/1/08).
