On March 30, the House passed, by voice vote, the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Reauthorization Act (H.R. 1171). The Senate approved the measure on March 26 (see The Source, 3/27/09).
Among other provisions, the bill establishes grants for programs and facilities that provide job training, counseling, placement, and child care services to women veterans and homeless veterans with children.
