Floor Action: 

The Senate is in session this week. The House is in recess this week. 
 
Mark-Ups: 
 
International- On Wednesday, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will mark up several bills, including S. Res. 503, a resolution expressing the sense of the Senate that the government of the People’s Republic of China should immediately guarantee the safety and freedom of tennis star Peng Shuai. 
 
Hearings: 
 
Child Care- On Tuesday, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee will hold a hearing, “Child Care and Preschool: Cutting Costs for Working Families.” 
 
Veterans- On Wednesday, the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee will hold a hearing, “Honoring Our Commitment: Improving VA’s Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers.”
