Briefings on Capitol Hill
Along with our other signature events, WCPI hosts congressional policy briefings on issues, including women’s preventative health; women’s health research; reducing maternal mortality and improving maternal and child health in the United States and globally; women veterans and women in the military; the gender wage gap; asset building and financial literacy for women; and economic security.
These congressional briefings are free and open to the public as space permits.
WCPI’s Most Recent Congressional Briefing
Invent Together and WCPI hosted a congressional briefing on Thursday, July 15 to discuss women and patents and increasing diversity in the innovation ecosystem. The briefing was held in cooperation with the leadership of the bipartisan Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues and made possible through a grant from Qualcomm.
