Appropriations: This week, the Senate is expected to pass a continuing resolution (H.R. 5371) to fund the federal government through January 30, 2026, combined with full funding for SNAP through September 30, 2026, and a three-bill “minibus” spending package that includes the FY2026 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies spending bill; Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies; and Legislative Branch spending bill.
