Lindley Sherer

Lindley Kratovil Sherer is the co-chair of the government relations practice at Invariant, a top-ranked, full-service advisory firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. Her career has focused on providing strategic policy and political guidance across a wide range of issues, including defense, education, technology, and appropriations. Known for her ability to navigate complex legislative processes, she has helped advance significant initiatives and secure key victories for stakeholders in major legislation such as the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Before entering the private sector, Lindley served as Chief of Staff to Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY), where she managed offices in Washington and New York and led efforts on defense, veterans, and education priorities. She also coordinated congressional recruitment efforts during the 2018 election cycle in support of the National Republican Campaign Committee. Earlier in her career, Lindley served as Legislative Director to Representatives Todd Rokita (R-IN) and Scott Tipton (R-CO) and held roles in the George W. Bush Administration within the White House Office of Legislative Affairs, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and the Office of the Vice President.
