Floor Action:

On Tuesday, the House will consider H.R. 1567, the Global Food Security Act.

Mark-Ups:

Appropriations- On Wednesday, the House Appropriations Committee will mark up the FY2017 Military Construction, Veterans’ Affairs, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).

The Senate Appropriations Committee will consider its version of the FY2017 Military Construction, Veterans’ Affairs, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet unnumbered) on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration, Rural Development, and Related Agencies will mark up the FY2017 Agriculture, FDA, Rural Development and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).

Child Protection- On Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to mark up S. 2613, the Adam Walsh Reauthorization Act.

Hearings:

International- On Wednesday, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations will hold a hearing, “Peacekeepers: Allegations of Abuse and Absence of Accountability at the United Nations.”

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hold a hearing, “Do No Harm: Ending Sexual Abuse in United Nations Peacekeeping,” also on Wednesday.

Judiciary- the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitution and Civil Justice will hold a hearing on the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act of 2016 (as-yet-unnumbered).
