Budget – This week, the House may consider Senate Amendment to H. Con. Res. 14, establishing the congressional budget for FY25 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for FY26 through FY34.

Health – On Wednesday, the House Homeland Security is scheduled to mark up a number of bills, including H.R. 820, the Bottles and Breastfeeding Equipment Screening Enhancement Act, a bill to require hygienic handling of breast milk and baby formula by security screening personnel of the Transportation Security Administration and personnel of private security companies providing security screening, and for other purposes.
Hearings:
Child Protection- On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitution and Limited Government will hold a hearing on “Ending Lawfare Against Whistleblowers Who Protect Children”.
Family Support- On Tuesday, the House Agriculture Committee will hold a hearing on “The Power of Work: Expanding Opportunity through SNAP”.
Also on Tuesday, the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Work and Welfare will hold a hearing on “Government Watchdog Findings: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program in Need of Reform, Better State Accountability, and Fraud Protection”.
