Floor Action:

Appropriations- This week, the House and Senate are likely to consider legislation (H.R. 1158 and H.R. 1865) to fund the federal government beyond December 21, when the current continuing resolution (P.L. 116-69) expires. The bills would fund departments and agencies within the FY2020 Defense; Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies; Financial Services and General Government; Homeland Security; Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies; Energy and Water; Interior; Legislative Branch; Military Construction, Veterans’ Affairs, and Related Agencies; State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs; and Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies spending bills.

Military- This week, the Senate is likely to consider S. 1790, the conference report for the FY2020 National Defense Authorization Act.

Miscellaneous- On Monday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 3362, the Small Airport Mothers’ Room Act.

Mark-Ups:

International- On Wednesday, the House Foreign Affairs Committee will mark up several bills, including H.R. 4508, Malala Yousafzai Scholarship Act.

Miscellaneous- On Thursday, the House Oversight and Reform Committee will consider several bills, including H.R. 2969, a bill to designate the Althea Margaret Daily Mills Post Office Building; H.R. 3680, a bill to designate the Paula Robinson and Judy Spray Memorial Post Office Building; H.R. 3976, a bill to designate the Aretha Franklin Post Office Building; H.R. 4975, a bill to designate the Dorothy Braden Bruce Post Office Building; H.R. 4279, a bill to designate the Melinda Gene Piccotti Post Office; and H.R. 4794, a bill to designate the Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini Post Office Building.
