CONGRESSIONAL SCHEDULE: December 7- 11, 2020

Floor Action:

Military- This week, the Senate is likely to consider the conference report for H.R. 6395, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The measure contains several provisions to address women in the military and support for military families.

Appropriations- This week, the House may consider a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the government through December 18. The current CR expires on December 11.

Child Protection- On Tuesday, the House will consider several bills, including S. 134, the Combat Online Predators Act.

International- On Monday, the House will consider several bills, including H. Res. 189, a resolution supporting sustained United States leadership to accelerating global progress against maternal and child malnutrition, among other provisions.

Military- On Tuesday, the House also is scheduled to consider the NDAA conference report.

Hearings:

Abortion- On Tuesday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies will hold a hearing, “The Impact on Women Seeking an Abortion but are Denied Because of an Inability to Pay.”
