Floor Action:

Civil Rights– On Tuesday, the House is scheduled to consider H. J. Res. 79, a resolution to remove the deadline for ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment.

Miscellaneous– This week, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 1980, the Smithsonian Women’s History Museum Act.

Mark-Ups:

Employment– On Wednesday, the House Homeland Security Committee will mark up several bills, including H.R. 5802, The “TSA Child Care Availability and Resources for Employees (CARE) Act, and H.R. 5811, the TSA Personnel Workplace Improvement Act.” 

Hearings:

Employment– On Tuesday, the House Education and Labor Subcommittee on Workforce Protections will hold a hearing, “Balancing Work, Health, and Family: The Case for Expanding the Family and Medical Leave Act.”

On Wednesday, the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion will hold a hearing, “A Review of Diversity and Inclusion at America’s Large Banks.”

On Thursday, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet will hold a hearing, “Protecting Federal Judiciary Employees from Sexual Harassment Discrimination and other Workplace Misconduct.”

Judiciary– On Tuesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing, “The Infant Patient: Ensuring Appropriate Medical Care for Children Born Alive.”

Reproductive Health– On Wednesday, the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing, “Protecting Women’s Access to Reproductive Care.”
