Appropriations- This week, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 7608, a bill that includes the FY2021 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies; Military Construction, Veterans’ Affairs, and Related Agencies; and State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs spending bills.
Child Care– On Monday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 7027, the Child Care is Essential Act.
Military– Also on Monday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 6395, the William Mac Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2021.
This week, the Senate is scheduled to continue its consideration of S. 4049, its version of the FY2021 NDAA.

Health- On Wednesday, the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee will mark up several bills, including S. 3152, the Data Mapping to Save Moms’ Lives Act.
Miscellaneous- On Wednesday, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will consider several bills, including S. 3839, a bill to designate the Opha May Johnson Post Office.
Hearings:
International– On Thursday, the House Oversight and Reform Subcommittee on National Security will hold a hearing, “Empowering Women and Girls and Promoting International Security.”
Veterans– On Wednesday, the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations will hold a hearing, “Ending Sexual Harassment in the Department of Veterans Affairs.”
On Thursday, the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee will hold a hearing on several bills, including H.R. 4281, the Access to Contraception Expansion for Veterans Act, and H.R. 6141, the Protecting Moms Who Served Act.
