Floor Action: The Senate and House are both in session.

On July 20, the House will consider a number of bills under suspension, including H. R. 8209, a bill to reauthorize School-Based Health Centers; H.R. 4541, a bill to reauthorize the Young Women’s Breast Health education and Awareness Requires Learning Young Act; and H.R. 6238, a bill to authorize the NIH to implement a program to improve maternal health outcomes 

Markups: 

Education—On July 21, the House Education and Workforce Committee will mark up a number of bills, including, H.R. 8781, the Title IX Clarification Act of 2026.

On July 22, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will mark up H.R. 9741, a bill to name the DC Tuition Assistance Grant program the Eleanor Holmes Norton District of Columbia Tuition Assistance Grant Program. 

Health—On July 22, the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee will mark up a number of bills, including S. 1874, the Title VIII Nursing Workforce Reauthorization Act; and S. 380, the Rural Obstetrics Readiness Act. 

Miscellaneous—On July 22, the House Natural Resources Committee will mark up H.R. 1693, a bill to redesignate the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper Wyoming as the Barbara L. Cubin National Historic Trails Interpretive Center.
