Next week, the Senate is likely to consider H.R. 5293, the FY2017 Defense spending bill.
The House is scheduled to consider H.R. 5485, the FY2017 Financial Services and General Government spending bill, and S. 1252, the Global Food Security Act.
The House also may consider conference reports for the FY2017 National Defense Authorization Act (S. 2943), and the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (S. 524).
Appropriations- On Wednesday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, and Related Programs will mark up the FY2017 State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).
On Thursday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services (HHS), Education, and Related Agencies will mark up the FY2017 Labor, HHS, Education, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).
