Congressional Schedule: June 14-18, 2021

Floor Action: 

The Senate is in session this week.  

Human Trafficking- On Tuesday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 2332, the Debt Bondage Repair Act, which would prevent credit reporting agencies from furnishing adverse reports for consumers who are victims of trafficking.

Veterans- On Tuesday, the House also will consider H.R. 239, the Equal Access to Contraception for Veterans Act.

Hearings:  

Abortion- On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitution will hold a hearing, “Protecting Roe: Why We Need the Women’s Health Protection Act.”  

Family Support- On Thursday, the Senate Aging Committee will hold a hearing, “21st Century Caregiving: Supporting Workers, Family Caregivers, Seniors and People with Disabilities.”  

Small Business and Entrepreneurship- On Tuesday, the House Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Tax, and Capital Access will hold a hearing, “Hearings Reversing the Decline in Women Entrepreneurship: Opportunities for Rebuilding the Economy.” 

Social Security/Retirement- On Tuesday, the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Social Security will host a hearing, “Equity in Social Security: In Their own Words.”
