Floor Action:

Health – This week, the Senate may consider the Better Care Reconciliation Act, a bill to repeal and replace the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

Mark-Ups:

Appropriations – On Monday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense will mark up the FY2018 Defense spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).

On Wednesday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Related Agencies will mark up the FY2018 Agriculture, Rural Development, FDA, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).

Military- On Tuesday, the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Personnel will mark up the National Defense Authorization Act for FY2018 (as-yet-unnumbered).

On Wednesday, the Senate Armed Services Committee is scheduled to begin its consideration of the FY2018 National Defense Authorization Act (as-yet-unnumbered) in a closed session.

On Wednesday, the House Armed Services Committee will mark up H.R. 2810, its version of the FY2018 National Defense Authorization Act.

Human Trafficking – On Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will mark up several bills, including S. 1312, the Trafficking in Victims Protection Act of 2017, and S. 1311, the Abolish Human Trafficking Act.
