Congressional Schedule: March 24-28, 2014

Hearings:

Child Care- On Tuesday, the House Education and the Workforce Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education will hold a hearing, “The Foundation for Success: Strengthening the Child Care and Development Block Grant Program.”

Miscellaneous- Also on Tuesday, the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Public Lands and Environmental Regulation will hold a hearing on several bills, including the Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Women’s History Museum Act (H.R. 863).

Child Protection- On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations will hold a hearing, “Innocence for Sale: Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking.”

Veterans- On Thursday, the House Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing on H.R. 2527, a bill to provide veterans with counseling and treatment for sexual trauma that occurred during inactive duty training, and H.R. 2974, a bill to provide for the eligibility for beneficiary travel for veterans seeking treatment and care for military sexual trauma in specialized Department of Veterans Affairs outpatient and residential programs.
