The Senate is in session this week.
Budget- This week, the House is expected to consider the Senate amendments to H.R. 1319, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, also known as the Stimulus bill.
Child Protection- On Monday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 485, the Stronger Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act.
Hearings:
Child Protection- On Thursday, the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commerce will hold a hearing, “Kids Online During COVID: Child Safety in an Increasingly Digital Age.”
Family Support- On Thursday, the House Agriculture Committee will hold a hearing, “A Look At Food Insecurity in America.”
Veterans- On Tuesday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies will hold a hearing, “Challenges Facing Veterans in Accessing Fertility Services.”
On Friday, the Subcommittee also will hold a hearing, “VA Specialty Healthcare: Oversight of Women’s Health, Mental Health, and Suicide Prevention, Whole Health and Homelessness.”
