This week, the House is scheduled to consider the FY2016 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 1735) and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 36).
Military- On Tuesday, the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Personnel will mark up the FY2016 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) (S. 1118).
The Senate Armed Services Committee will mark up the FY2016 NDAA (S. 1118) during the rest of the week.
Appropriations- On Wednesday, the House Appropriations Committee will mark up the FY2016 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).
Human Trafficking- On Thursday, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations will hold a hearing, “A Pathway to Freedom: Rescue and Refuge for Sex Trafficking Victims.”
