Floor Action:

The House and Senate are in session this week. 

Health- This week, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 7790, the Infant Formula Supplemental Appropriations Act.

Veterans-  On Tuesday, the House will consider several bills, including H.R. 5738, the Lactation Spaces for Veteran Moms Act; H.R. 7335, Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Claims Coordination Act; H.R. 6961, Dignity for MST Survivors Act; H.R. 6064, a bill to direct the secretary of Veterans Affairs to seek to enter into an agreement with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine for a review of examinations for compensation for mental and physical conditions linked to military sexual trauma; H.R. 2724, the VA Peer Support Enhancement for MST Survivors Act; S. 2533, the Making Advances in Mammography and Medical Options for Veterans Act; and S. 2102, the Dr. Kate Hendricks Thomas SERVICE Act.  

Hearings: 

Abortion- On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing, “Revoking Your Rights: The Ongoing Crisis in Abortion Care Access.” 

Employment- On Tuesday, the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis will hold a hearing, “Underpaid, Overworked, and Underappreciated: How the Pandemic Economy Disproportionately Harmed Low-Wage Women Workers.” 

Health- On Thursday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Related Agencies will hold a hearing on the budget request for FDA, which will include questions on the shortage of infant formula.

Violence Against Women- On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitution will hold a hearing, “Stop Gun Violence: The Jackson-Elias Domestic Violence Survivor Protection Act.”
