Floor Action:

The House and Senate are in session this week. 

Abortion- This week, the Senate is scheduled to begin consideration of S. 4132, the Women’s Health Protection Act. 

Violence Against Women- On Tuesday, the House will consider several bills, including H.R. 224, a bill to designate the “Vanessa Guillén Post Office Building.” 

Women’s History– Also on Tuesday, the House will consider several bills, including H.R. 6614, a bill to designate the “Rosa Louise McCauley Parks Post Office Building.” 

Mark-ups: 

Small Business- On Wednesday, the House Small Business Committee will mark up several bills, including H.R. 7670, the Women-Owned Small Business Program Transparency Act. 

Women’s History- On Wednesday, the House Oversight and Reform Committee will consider several bills, including, H.R. 228, a bill to designate the “Norma Comnick Post Office Building.”

Hearings: 

Women’s History- On Wednesday, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Subcommittee on National Parks will hold a hearing on several bills, including S. 1718, a bill to amend the Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park Establishment Act of 2000, and S. 1814/H.R. 3531, a bill to authorize the Women Who Worked on the Home Front Foundation to establish a commemorative work in the District of Columbia and its environs.
