Floor Action:

Miscellaneous- On Wednesday, the House will consider H.R. 1773, the Rosie the Riveter Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2019.

Veterans- On Tuesday, the House will consider a comprehensive female veterans’ health care and sexual harassment package as part of H.R. 3224, the Deborah Simpson Act.

Mark-Ups:

Civil Rights- On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Committee will mark up H.J. Res. 79, a resolution to remove the deadline for ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment.

Health- On Wednesday, the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health will mark up several bills, including legislation to improve maternal health quality and services (H.R. 4995 and H.R. 4996).

Miscellaneous- On Tuesday, the House Administration Committee will mark up H.R. 1980, the Smithsonian Women’s History Museum Act.

On Wednesday, the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee will mark up several bills, including S. 2330, the Empowering Olympic and Amateur Athletes Act, and S. 2782, a bill to improve provisions of law relating to sexual harassment and assault prevention at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Hearings:

Child Protection- On Wednesday, the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Indigenous Peoples of the United States will hold a hearing on H.R. 4957, a bill to amend the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Act.

Reproductive Health- On Thursday, the House Oversight and Reform Committee will hold a hearing, “Examining State Efforts to Undermine Access to Reproductive Health Care.”
