Floor Action:

The House will consider votes on Tuesday, and then is expected to begin a scheduled committee work period for the remainder of the week.

The Senate is in recess this week.

Mark-Ups:

Women’s History- On Thursday, the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands will mark up several bills, including H.R. 3531, the Women Who Worked on the Home Front World War II Memorial Act.

Hearings:

Veterans- On Wednesday, the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing on several bills, including H.R. 4794, the Making Advances in Mammography and Medical Options (MAMMO) for Veterans Act; H.R. 4575, the Veterans Peer Specialist Act, which contains provisions to ensure the hiring of female peer specialists at VA medical centers; and a bill to improve coordination between the Veterans Health Administration and the Veterans Benefits Administration with respect to claims for compensation arising from military sexual trauma, and for other purposes (as-yet-unnumbered).
