Floor Action:

Appropriations- This week, the Senate is scheduled to consider H.R. 3055, a minibus spending bill that contains the FY2020 Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration, Rural Development, and Related Agencies; Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies; Interior and the Environment; and Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies spending bills.

Miscellaneous- On Monday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 2423, the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commemorative Coin Act.

Mark-Ups:

International- On Wednesday, the House Foreign Affairs Committee will mark up several bills, including H.R. 2153, the Keeping Girls in School Act and H. Res. 189, a resolution recognizing the importance of sustained United States leadership to accelerating global progress against maternal and child malnutrition and supporting United States Agency for International Development’s commitment to global nutrition through its multi-sectoral nutrition strategy.

Veterans- On Tuesday, the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee will consider several bills, including H.R. 3224, a bill to provide for increased access to Department of Veterans Affairs’ medical care for women veterans.

Hearings:

Employment- On Wednesday, the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations will hold a hearing, “Sexual Harassment at the Department of the Interior.”
