CONGRESSIONAL SCHEDULE: SEPTEMBER 28-October 2, 2020

Appropriations – This week, the Senate is scheduled to continue its consideration of H.R. 8337, a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the government through December 11.  
 
Employment – On Wednesday, the House will consider H.R. 5139, Stop Sexual Assault and Harassment in Transportation Act; and H.R. 5811, the TSA Personnel Workforce Improvement Act, which contains provisions to address paid leave and provide lactation rooms for employees.
  
Health – On Monday, the House is scheduled to consider several bills, including S. 2638, the Friendly Airports for Mothers Improvement Act; H.R. 4078, the EARLY Act Reauthorization of 2019; and H.R. 4996, the Helping MOMS Act of 2020.
  
Human Trafficking – On Wednesday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 5804, the DHS Blue Campaign Enhancement Act, which seeks to prevent human trafficking.  
 
Judiciary – On Tuesday, the House also will consider H.R. 7718, Pregnant Women in Custody Act.  
 
Miscellaneous –  On Wednesday, the House also is scheduled to consider H.R. 5068, Women Who Worked on the Home Front World War II Memorial Act.  
 
Violence Against Women –  On Wednesday, the House is scheduled to consider S. 2330, the Empowering Olympic, Paralympic, and Amateur Athletes Act. 
 
Mark-Ups:
 
Child Care- On Wednesday, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will consider several bills, including H.R. 8326, the Child Care is Economic Development Act.
