On February 24, Women’s Policy, Inc. celebrated the impact of women in the 114th Congress and congressional women retiring from public service. The speakers included Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Women’s Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Kristi Noem and Doris Matsui, and former Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Lois Capps and Gwen Moore.
We were pleased to host 350 attendees: 18 Members of Congress, including Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, high-ranking federal agency and administration officials, including newly confirmed FDA Commissioner Robert Califf, corporate and labor supporters, senior congressional staff, and women’s groups.
