On October 19, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee approved en bloc, by voice vote, a bill (S. 384) to extend through December 31, 2015, the authority of the United States Postal Service to issue a semipostal to raise funds for breast cancer research. The current authorization (P.L. 110-150) for the breast cancer postage stamp expires on December 31.
