On July 29, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee approved several bills en bloc, by voice vote, including the Breast Cancer Research Stamp Reauthorization Act (S. 1170).
Sponsored by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), S. 1170 would reauthorize the breast cancer stamp through 2019 and ensure that any funds generated through sales of the postage stamp are used for breast cancer research.
