Congressional Schedule: April 29-May 3, 2019

Mark-Ups:

Crime- On Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to consider S. 820, the Debbie Smith Act of 2019.

Hearings:

Employment- On Wednesday, the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion will hold a hearing, “Good for the Bottom Line: A Review of the Business Case for Diversity and Inclusion.”

International- On Tuesday, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations will hold a hearing, “UN Peacekeeping Operations in Africa.”

Judiciary- Also on Tuesday, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties will hold a hearing on the Equal Rights Amendment.

Veterans- On Thursday, the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing, “Cultural Barriers Impacting Women Veterans’ Access to Health Care.”
