On July 18, the Senate passed, by unanimous consent, the FY2001 foreign operations appropriations bill (S. 2522). The Senate debated and amended the bill during the week of June 19, but postponed final passage until the House approved its version (H.R. 4811) (see The Source, 6/23/00).
