On September 14, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee approved, by voice vote, H.R. 5147, the Bathrooms Accessible in Every Situation (BABIES) Act, as amended, sponsored by Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI).
The bill would require that female and male restrooms in public buildings be equipped with baby changing stations that the General Services Administration determines are “physically safe, sanitary, and appropriate.”
