On July 19, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee approved, by voice vote, a resolution (H. Res. 553) mourning the death of former First Lady Lady Bird Johnson. The Senate approved a similar resolution (S. Res. 271) on July 13 (see The Source, 7/16/07).
