House Passes Sexual Harassment Training Resolution

On November 28, the House passed, by voice vote, H. Res. 630, requiring mandatory sexual harassment training for all Members, officers, and employees of the House of Representatives. The training would also be required for interns and fellows working in House offices. The measure, sponsored by Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA), would require proof of the completed training to be reported to the House Administration Committee each new Congress.

The Senate agreed to a similar employee training mandate on November 9 (see The Source, 11/10/17).
