On July 28, the House passed, by voice vote, H.R. 95, the Veterans’ Access to Child Care Act. The House Veterans’ Affairs Committee approved the bill on July 19 (see The Source, 7/21/17).
Sponsored by Rep. Julia Brownley (D-CA), the legislation would require the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA) to provide child care assistance to veterans receiving care at a VA facility.
