On May 2, the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel held a hearing, “Overview of the Annual Report on Sexual Harassment and Violence at the Military Service Academies.”
The report revealed an increase of sexual harassment throughout all military service academies, noting that approximately 12 percent of women in service academies experienced sexual assault and nearly half faced persistent sexual harassment.
