On February 3, the Senate approved, by unanimous consent, S. Res. 340, a resolution expressing the sense of the Senate that all necessary measures should be taken to protect children from human trafficking, especially during the Super Bowl.
The House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations held a hearing on human trafficking at major sporting events on January 27 (see The Source, 1/31/14).
