On March 8, the Senate approved, by unanimous consent, S. Res. 84, a resolution recognizing International Women’s Day. The resolution, sponsored by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), commemorates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women across the globe.
