Senate Passes Car Safety Measure, Clearing Bill for President

On February 14, the Senate passed, by unanimous consent, H.R. 1216, the Cameron Gulbransen Kids and Cars Safety Act. The House passed the bill, sponsored by Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), on December 19, 2007 (see The Source, 12/19/07).
