The Senate passed, 97-2, the FY2001 interior appropriations bill (H.R. 4578) on July 18. The measure does not include funding for restoration of the Sewall-Belmont House, home of the National Woman’s Party. The house received $500,000 last year. The House-passed bill also did not include funding for the restoration.
