On December 5, the Senate approved, by unanimous consent, S. 384, a bill to extend through December 31, 2015, the United States Postal Service’s authority to issue a semipostal stamp to raise funds for breast cancer research. The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee approved the measure on October 19 (see The Source, 10/21/11). The current authorization (P.L. 110-150) expires on December 31.
