On October 10, the House approved, 272-144, a resolution (H. J. Res. 122) to fund government programs at their FY2002 levels through October 18. The Senate approved the resolution, by voice vote, the same day.
To date, the House has approved five spending bills, while the Senate has approved three. In addition, this week, Congress cleared the military construction appropriations bill (H.R. 5011) for the President’s signature.
