On May 12, the House passed, 418-0, H. Con. Res. 268, a resolution recognizing National Women’s Health Month. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee approved the measure last week (see The Source, 5/7/10). The Senate passed a similar resolution (S. Res. 530) by unanimous consent on May 14.
The resolution encourages women to take preventive steps to improve their health and recognizes the role of several federal agencies in improving women’s health.
