Miscellaneous- On March 1, the House approved, 371-9, H.R. 3735, a bill to designate the Maya Angelou Post Office in Winston Salem, NC, and, by voice vote, H.R. 4046, a bill to designate the Second Lt. Ellen Ainsworth Post Office in Glenwood City, WI.

Hearings:

Health- On March 2, the House Energy and Commerce Select Investigative Panel held a hearing, “Bioethics and Fetal Tissue.”

On March 2, the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations held a hearing, “Examining the U.S. Public Health Response to the Zika Virus.”

Small Business- On March 2, the House Small Business Committee held a hearing, “Commercializing on Innovation: Reauthorizing the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Programs.”
