Floor Action:

On November 18, the Democratic Caucus re-elected Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as Minority Leader for the 114th Congress.

Child Care- On November 17, the Senate approved, 88-1, the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act (P.L. 113-186).

Veterans- On November 20, the Senate passed, by unanimous consent, a bill (H.R. 5441) to amend the federal charter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the United States to reflect the service of women in the armed forces of the United States.

Health- On November 20, the Senate approved, by unanimous consent, the Sudden Unexpected Death Data Enhancement and Awareness Act (H.R. 669).

International- On November 19, the House approved, by voice vote, the Girls Count Act (H.R. 3398).

On November 19, the House approved, by voice vote, the Malala Yousafzai Scholarship Act (H.R. 3583).
